Over the past decade, Electro-Acuscope/Myopulse therapists have gained respect among veterinarians, trainers, farriers, horse owners and other professionals in the equine industry for their commitment to the equine health team.
The American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP) describes the use of equine therapy as non-invasive techniques for the rehabilitation of injuries. Work performed by an equine therapist of any kind must be in accordance with the state veterinary acts, which in the state of California requires a veterinary referral following a diagnosis before treatments can begin.
- Health Team Leader: Your Veterinarian
- Your horse’s health team leader is your veterinarian. Your veterinarian evaluates the injury, makes the diagnosis and works with the therapist, trainer, farrier and you (the owner) to formulate the best form of treatment. Your veterinarian is responsible for interpreting the evaluation, formulating the plan for recuperation, prescribing medications and overseeing the therapist and farrier.

- You
